The Llama is an ally of the Kongs in Donkey Kong 64. He is first seen in Angry Aztec, trapped in a cage, and can be rescued by having Donkey Kong complete his Barrel Blast course. He then retreats to his temple, leaving a Golden Banana behind for Donkey to pick up. Donkey Kong then meets the Llama in his temple, and plays the Bongos that Candy Kong gave him to wake him up. The Llama then spits saliva into the lava and turns it into water, so Donkey Kong can save Lanky Kong.
