He tries to attack Diddy and Dixie by dropping eggs on them. If they are jumped on or waited to be stopped, they can be thrown back at Krow. After being hit with two eggs, Krow becomes disoriented and flies into his nest, which makes eggs fly out. The Kongs have to wait for one of the eggs to land and then throw it at Krow. Repeating this once more defeats Krow and allows the Kongs to go to Crocodile Cauldron or if in Donkey Kong Land 2, Krem Cauldron.
- The stage where Diddy and Dixie fights Krow, named Krow's Nest, is a pun on crow's nest, which is a lookout above the mast of a ship.
