Krocodile Kore is the power source of Crocodile Isle and is the location of the final battle in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. After Diddy and Dixie collect all of the Kremkoins and DK Coins, the giant Kremling head in the Lost World will open its mouth and allow access to Krocodile Kore. Once they get there, they will find Kaptain K. Rool waiting for them. After K. Rool is defeated, his blunderbuss explodes, which launches him into the geyser. Due to him clogging it up, the pressure builds up until Krocodile Kore explodes, blowing off the top of Crocodile Isle and sending the rest of the island underwater. K. Rool survived, however, and would exact his revenge in Donkey Kong Land 2. In this game, K. Rool resurfaces Crocodile Isle and repopulates it as well. When the Kongs face K. Rool again in Krocodile Kore, it looks much more volcanic (probably due to the fact that it exploded in Donkey Kong Country 2) and doesn't have an energy geyser. After defeating K. Rool, Krocodile Kore, along with the rest of Crocodile Isle, sunk again, this time for good.
