Kastle KAOS is KAOS' base and the location of the final boss of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. When Dixie and Kiddy enter the castle, they are confronted by KAOS. They must throw a barrel at his head, which reveals his final head. This head shoots bombs, which Dixie and Kiddy must dodge. After that, they can run under KAOS and throw a barrel at his head. The duo must repeat this step once more to defeat him. After that, a hook takes KAOS away, and then a red curtain is lifted, revealing the true villain, K. Rool. K. Rool, under the moniker of Baron K. Roolenstein, was secretly controlling KAOS the whole time.

After some dialogue, K. Rool activates his propeller pack and some switches. The Kongs need to pull on the correct switch in order to get a Barrel. After that, they need to throw the barrel at K. Rool's propeller pack, which causes it to malfunction for a bit. After a few hits, K. Rool activates the electric generators near the floor, so the Kongs have to use platforms to get the Barrels. After K. Rool is defeated, KAOS' body crashes down and Donkey and Diddy come out, revealing that the two were kidnapped and used as KAOS' power source. Cranky Kong shows up to criticize their victory over K. Rool, which he is up for.
