The map of the Dino Domain
Dino Domain is the first of five worlds in Diddy Kong Racing. It is the easiest world to complete and it takes the least amount of Golden and Silver Balloons to unlock. Tricky the Triceratops lives in this place. The most interesting part is a green brontosaurus strutting around where she goes. Also, the purple pterodactyls fly around most courses.
Ancient Lake[]

Ancient Lake is the very first racetrack throughout the whole game. It is also the first track of the Dino Domain where the first key hovers above the ramp near the arch and you can use your playable character to win simply. This racetrack shapes like safety goggles and right above it is the blue daytime sky with white clouds and the rocky mountain surrounded by the sea. As revealed in the Nintendo DS version, the way to the finish line is modified with a wooden bridge.
Fossil Canyon[]
Fossil Canyon is the second racetrack throughout the whole game. It is also the second track of the Dino Domain where its track shapes like the number seven and right above it is the orange sky with the yellow sun close to the horizon. In the intro to the game, the sky is blue and the yellow velociraptor runs in the background.
Jungle Falls[]
Jungle Falls is the third racetrack throughout the whole game. It is also the third track of the Dino Domain where its track shapes like a bowl and right above it is the same sky as Ancient Lake does. This is the only racetrack where there are no octagon-zippers.
Hot Top Volcano[]
Hot Top Volcano is the fourth racetrack throughout the whole game. It is also the fourth track of the Dino Domain where the track shapes like a slug with a single eye and right above it is the dark red sky.
Fire Mountain[]
Fire Mountain is a battle course in the Dino Domain. Right above this course is the same sky as Hot Top Volcano does. There are exactly four different colors of nests on four sides and the task is to retrieve the dinosaur eggs from the yellow magma pit in the middle and put them in your nest so they can hatch in about 10 seconds. These eggs are white with blue spots on them. Be the first to hatch all three eggs and you'll earn a prize.
