The Salty Hippo is a ship featured in Banjo-Kazooie in Treasure Trove Cove. It belongs to Captain Blubber who managed to get it shipwrecked in the middle of the island. Blubber asks Banjo and Kazooie to find his gold in the remains of his ship underwater in exchange for a Jiggy. Banjo and Kazooie must then go find it. At the top of the vast, there is a green Jinjo, and at the tip, Bottles teaches Kazooie how to fly.
The Salty Hippo reappears in Banjoland in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts where only half of it is shown with a net keeping it together. Alongside that, it does nothing else.
Banjoland description[]
"Captain Blubber's pride and joy, the Salty Hippo first appeared in Banjo-Kazooie's Treasure Trove Cove. It has never been seen in good working order, possibly due to its useless hippo captain."
