Mini-Neckies are brown vulture enemies appearing in the Donkey Kong series.

History

Donkey Kong Country/Land

Mini-Neckies first appear in Donkey Kong Country.

In this game, Donkey and Diddy have them as their enemies. They often fire coconuts from their mouths, and, contrary to what their name would imply, are far stronger than Neckies, and are also more difficult to deal with. Jumping on their heads, defeats them just like it does with their larger brethren. They first appear in Vulture Culture (Winky's Walkway in the Game Boy Color version) and their final inElevator Antics (Necky's Nutmare in the Game Boy Color version).

These foes reappear in Donkey Kong Land. In this game, they act the same. They first appear in Deck Trek and make their final in Fast Barrel Blast.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest/Land 2

They reappear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. This time, these foes are seen wearing red pirate bandannas with white polka dots on the bandannas. Unlike the previous game, they attempt to swoop down at Diddy and Dixie instead of spewing out coconuts at them. They can be defeated in the same way though. In this game, they make their first appearance in Kannon's Klaim and make their final appearance in Animal Antics. A new notable member (Krow and its Kreepy Krow form) was introduced in this game.

These foes reappear once again in Donkey Kong Land 2 acting the same. They seem to lack their pirate bandannas in this game however.
