General Pepper is an anthropomorphic bloodhound and a minor character in the video game Star Fox Adventures. He leads the Cornerian Army, and is a close friend of James McCloud, Fox's dead father. In the game, he is the reason why the Star Fox team is sent to Dinosaur Planet; to investigate why it is breaking apart and fix the problem. Fox contacts him upon arrival there and asks why he can't bring any of his weapons, with the general's reply being that the objective is to save the planet and not destroy it. He is seen at the end of the game praising Star Fox for their valiant efforts and rewarding them with the cash he promised them at the beginning of the game. He shows the player his current status in the pause menu.
