Flitters are enemies that appear in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. They appear to be blue dragonfly-like enemies. They mainly roam the swamps of Crocodile Isle and can be defeated by a simple jump on the head or any other sign of attack.
These enemies spend their time roaming the skies of Crocodile Isle seeking out Diddy and Dixie and always flies in a straight line and act much like Neckies and Hogwashes who do the same.
Flitters were seen in the trailer for Donkey Kong Racing flying around while the logo for the game was being shown. Nothing else is known.
