Army is a yellow armadillo enemy found in the Donkey Kong series.

History

Donkey Kong Country/Land

Army first appears in Donkey Kong Country. In this game, these foes have the ability to roll around left or right when it desires. This enemy also is at its weak spot when not rolling around, allowing Diddy to defeat it. However, Donkey can defeat it with any of his attacks. When Diddy tries to cartwheel or jump onto it when it rolls around, it just comes out with no harm. They can also be defeated with barrels. Armies first appear in the level Ropey Rampage and make their last in Platform Perils. They are also one of the enemies Dumb Drum spews out during his boss battle.

They reappear in Donkey Kong Land as enemies once again and thus remain the same. They first appear in Tire Trail and make their final appearance in Button Barrel Blast. They also were going to appear in Donkey Kong Racing, presumably as rideable characters as they were seen in the stampede of Kiddy and Ellie riding along throughout many enemies from Donkey Kong Country.
