BK Spiralmountain

A view from the Spiral Mountain in Banjo-Kazooie.

Spiral Mountain is a small, serene valley located within the vicinity of the Isle O' Hags. It is the home to Banjo, Kazooie and Tooty and has appeared in every game in the Banjo-Kazooie series. The valley is named for the small, spiraling mountain, surrounded by water, located in the center of the valley.

The entrance to Grunty's Lair overlooks Spiral Mountain, and at one point, was connected to the top of the mountain by a rope bridge.

Spiral Mountain also appears as a race course in Banjo-Pilot.

Landmarks[]

Besides the mountain Spiral Mountain is named for; the location also contains Banjo's house (which was destroyed at the beginning of Banjo-Tooie), a large waterfall that feeds into a small lake.

Most of the land is grassy, and the valley is relatively small. Much of the land seems to be taken care of by Banjo, as there is a garden area inhabited by Toppers and Bawls. In Banjo-Tooie much of Spiral Mountain was destroyed by Gruntilda, leaving ruins behind and breaking the rope bridge that connected the valley with her lair.

Items[]

Many items are hidden throughout Spiral Mountain. These include:

  • A Jinjo that is hidden in a small hole underneath the waterfall
  • A Cheato Page that is hidden in an indention in the mountain.
  • A fish that is lying underneath the rock.
  • 6 Empty Honeycombs.
