Donkey Kong Land 2 is the game sequel to Donkey Kong Land and its predecessor is Donkey Kong Land III. This game is released for the Game Boy and is based on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System version of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.

This game is also often mistaken for a handheld port of Donkey Kong Country 2, however this was proven to be false due to the worlds Crocodile Cauldron and Krem Quay being merged into a new world called Krem Cauldron. Another difference is that the levels are slightly remodeled throughout the game and there are also 2 new levels, Krazy Koaster and Dungeon Danger which replace Haunted Hall and Castle Crush likely due to system limitations.

Story[]

This storyline is similar to the Donkey Kong Country 2 because Donkey Kong was kidnapped again by Kaptain K. Rool and the Kremling Krew and Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong had to save Donkey Kong.
