Crocodile Isle is the area where the events of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2 takes place and is apparently the birthplace of the Kremlings. In contrast to Donkey Kong Island, which is a beautiful place, Crocodile Isle is a dark and gloomy place. It's powered by a large geyser that pumps out a blue and pink beam. It is in close proximity to Donkey Kong Island, as it can be seen in Gangplank Galleon and K. Rool's Keep (these cameos were removed in the GBA version).
After defeating K. Rool in Krocodile Kore, he is launched into the geyser and clogs it up. The Kongs then escape the island before it sinks underwater. K. Rool also happens to escape on a boat, and laughs ominously. Crocodile Isle also reappears in Donkey Kong Land 2, where K. Rool apparently resurfaced it. Not much has changed, except that Crocodile Cauldron and Krem Quay merged together to form Krem Cauldron. After defeating K. Rool again, the island sinks again, this time for good. A remade version also appears in Donkey Kong 64. This version is more mobile and has more weapons.
