Castle Crush is the thirtieth level of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and the twenty ninth level in the Game Boy Advance remake for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. It is the third level of the world K. Rool's Keep and the second in the remake.
This level, along with Haunted Hall had a replacement level in Donkey Kong Land 2. Reasons being that the Game Boy's limits were going high during development including the memory and graphics. Instead, these two levels were replaced with Dungeon Danger and Krazy Koaster respectively.
This level is the first castle level in the game that Diddy and Dixie go through. This level has a rising floor that rises throughout the level. The ceilings must be avoided at all costs, or the Kongs lose a life. There are enemies that makes this level even harder. Rambi appears in this level to help the Kongs throughout the level and is needed to access a hidden Bonus Level. Also Squawks appears in this level. Enemies residing here include Krunchas, Kutlass, Klampons, Krooks, Mini-Neckies, Neeks, Spinies and Zingers.
- The Super Nintendo Entertainment System version of this level is notorious for a fatal glitch that can have many different effects, usually deleting the player's save files or corrupting the game. This glitch was fixed in the Virtual Console and Game Boy Advance releases.
